35yrs hefty male presented with 2weeks old closed displaced fracture femur and underwent treatment from bone setter.closed reduction and IM/IL nailing was achieved .patient is HIV positive.

  Sanjay Joseph I sincerely appreciate you for operating a sero-positive patient. I operated my first sero-positive patient in 1998 and it is only recently that acceptance by theatre staff has become commoner than before.

  Shiraz Bhatty good job. here at our place arround 30% of patients are seropositive( HbsAg and Hcv). Hiv is also not rare. not left with any choice, have to take full precautions and operate on them.
